We integrate a specific formulation of Yoga for BJJ at Straight Blast Gym Bury with a fundamental focus on breathwork. Many Yoga instructors place a passing focus at best on the respiration system with classes that are little more than  stretching with a “breath in” and a “breath out”.   Our Head Coach Glyn Powditch is a certified Breathing Coach under Dr Belisa Vranich. Dr Belisa’s clients include Bas Rutten, Henry Akins, Laird Hamilton and many more. She is the author of the best selling books ‘Breathe’ and ‘Breathing For Warriors’.  Whether you are growing a life-long practice or starting yoga for the first time, our coaches will work with you to make yoga work for your body and mind, whether on the mats, at home, or in the office. The beauty of our breathing sessions is that we provide online videos in our private facebook group, so you can practise these at home or whenever you have spare time.
